There is something bittersweet about the final weeks of summer—the gardens are still blooming, the evenings linger just a little longer, and we find ourselves wanting to savor every last golden moment before the seasons begin to change.

Join us at the Mercantile & Café for our Last Hurrah of Summer Tea, an afternoon inspired by the easy elegance and gracious hospitality of the South. As you settle in with friends, you will enjoy a house made amuse bouche as a pre cursor before enjoying  a thoughtfully prepared tea featuring delicate finger sandwiches, warm savory bites, freshly baked scones with seasonal accompaniments, and an assortment of sweet treats, all influenced by menus of the South. Of course the lovely tea trays will be paired with a selection of fine teas or a Southern iced sweet tea option and a refreshing southern spritzer.

It’s an invitation to slow down, gather around the table, and celebrate the beauty of late summer—the kind of afternoon that reminds us that the sweetest memories are often made in the simplest moments.
