Life's Patina aims to celebrate the beauty of life both past and present with its
Barn Sales, Mercantile & Cafe, and Historic Farm Venue.
"We live and breathe for restoring old structures, all things vintage,
and unique, approachable design. "
Meg Veno founded Life’s Patina in 2011 and has been the woman behind the business for the past ten years. Inspired by her family’s move to an 18th century historic home and farm, Meg combined her passions for design, history, family, and celebrating life’s milestones to dream up and create Life’s Patina. Meg lives and breathes for restoring old structures, all things vintage, and unique, approachable design. She’s a firm believer in the power of making special memories by designing thoughtful and intentional celebrations and gatherings for family and friends. Her love for personal connection and her passion for celebrating the beauty of life both past and present fuels her everyday.
Julie Niness is a wearer of many hats and a force behind the scenes here at Life’s Patina. On any given day, you can find her managing everything from inventory to private venue rentals. Julie has been a dear friend of our founder, Meg, from the beginning and has been an ever supportive and encouraging cheerleader over the years. Julie loves spending time with her family and friends and is most proud of her family – her husband and the three resilient, kind and caring children that they’ve raised together.
Lynda is a bookkeeping genius and if you ever need to balance your finances, she is your gal. She manages all of our budgets, sales reporting, and accounting. Lynda has been friends with our founder, Meg, since college and is a constant source of joy and creative thinking on our team. When she’s not helping out at Life’s Patina, you can find her running her two Duck Donuts locations in New Jersey. Lynda lives outside Philadelphia with her husband and two children.
Chris knows our farm inside and out and is in charge of making sure our property stays in its best shape. Chris manages everything from landscaping to building projects and is a true wealth of knowledge when it comes to gardening and carpentry – anyone who visits our farm can attest to that. He is the oldest son of Meg, our founder, and loves to play guitar and spend time enjoying nature. In his spare time, Chris can be found in his woodshop making cutting boards, coasters and other wood accents that we sell in our shop!
